I don't do much 3d anymore but thought I'd do something so i started on that idea tally.
I started on the TV. Will do a little more work to make it more presentable. Be prepared for the edit.

That looks cool. How did you get the screen to glow and make the reflection?

To Divideandrender:
the screen isn't acctually glowing its just a picture that is really high contrast. With a good bit of help from poopsmith in pointing in the right direction. I bassically unwrapped the TV and added the words and the picture. I then took the same picture, blurred it, and saved that somewhere on my desktop. Then i placed a target spotlight behind the screen and changed the shape or light to a box. Then i used the picture as a projection map and turned on the near and far attentuation so that it would look like the light is fading out.
For the reflection you just take the material that its sitting on and add a raytrace on like 13 in the reflection map.
does that cover everything
